Nov/Dec 2010 Wishlist

Greetings,

Heya Hi.
I am back in KL. Home sweet home. How are things on your side? And for those in Malaysia, how was the long weekend?

I hope it is not too late to wish everyone a very Happy Diwali nal Valtukal. May you have a peace, harmony and wonderful year ahead.
***Ohh...the 'laddoo' made special for Diwali Day that we served on flight was damn good. Any idea where to get good laddoo in KL? Brickfield area or at Jalan Masjid India?

Anyway, I will upload the pics from my EuroTrip later in the upcoming entries (now I remember this is like a cliche where I keep telling readers that I will share the story and photos from my travels 'later' but realized that I never deliver :p).

But for now, let's check out these items.

Been dreaming about for the past few days. I woke up at night, thinking of these toys. How nice if they could become mine.

1-Leica M7 limited Edition Hermès

O Lord, I'm crying just to see how beautiful human has made this stuff. Look at the Orange color. It is so me!

It is not just a camera, it is a fashion statement.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

And guess, how much is the damage? Close to 8500 Pound Sterling =\

But heck, if one's can afford Audemars Piguet and Richard Mille watch worth 30,000 Pound, why not for the camera?

But mind you, this Leica is a limited edition of 200 units only available worldwide and model ni dah lame. Came out year last year, so I believe model ni dah abes. As for me, memang la tak mampu. The price of the camera equals to my salary for one year! I simply cannot afford this brand. Even the small compact D-Lux 4 model.

But say I can buy this camera, it won't be for my daily usage, but more to future investment.

Oh money, please come to me.

2- Dr. Martens 8-eye leather boots

I know ramai yang akan buat mata when they read this. Boots ain't for me. And it won't be normal if I wear boots. So mat rempit. So mamat Oi and Punk.

Whatever it is, I must tell you that I fell for these boots!

Samalah dengan my hi-cut Converse. At the very beginning, I must admit that I did not feel comfy in hi-cut sneakers and even people around me had noticed that! But as time passed by, I started to feel alright! It is not that bad or rempit actually!

But this one is for sure. I'll get myself a pair of this anytime soon. The damage is USD120. More or less RM500.

You know, when you keep on dreaming and thinking of something, that means u just gotta have it.

But the problem is, aku nak pakai apa dengan boots ni heh? What goes well with the boots? For sure bukan dengan shorts yang short macam my wardrobe staple? Geez....tak kesah. Janji aku ade satu.

Gotta dash. Happy weekdays people.

Tschuess.

U know u love me,
xoxo

Marc Jacobs New EDTs

Wow, very sexy!

That was actually my first impression about the latest campaign by Marc Jacobs for his new perfumes--Bang.

To be honest, I haven't had a chance to visit the nearest perfume counter yet to take a sniff on Bang but I know I will like it, and I will get myself one soon. And boi, how I love the bottle!
It looks similar to the flask that I wanted to buy this afternoon!

Geez. Tak jadi beli flask tu pon sbb it is very small, way too smaller than my old Erik Magnussen flask (bukan dr segi ml/flask but the size of the flask itself). I like BIG things, really
;-)

And what a coincident that Bang is out in the market now. With a bottle resembling my (used to be) dream flask, it is simply a must thing to buy.

Now see the nude Marc ;)

Arghhh.....the excitement doesn't finish there. Now presenting another 3 new EDTs.

Biscotti, Apple and Pomegranate body splash.

Well, they are not really body splash a-la Victoria Secret's packed in those flimsy plastic bottles that you can buy quite cheap in town, but those are also new EDTs.

I personally call it body splash 'coz they only have in 300ml bottle. WHAT? 300ml? That's a lot!
Man, I
yang heavy user of perfume ni pon pakai 100ml bertahun baru habis. So yeah, kalau dah 300ml.....buat ala2 body splash sudah.

I have tried all. Initially I thought Biscotti would suits men, but nah....I prefer the Apple more.

Pon nak kene beli jugak nanti ;)

Price check: RM 304/bottle.
Takpe, end of the month I ada Dubai, I will get my Bang and Apple from there. Cheaper in Dubai than in KL :)
Ada sesiapa yang nak kirim?

U know u love me,
xoxo

I Need More Space

Not in terms of relationship or the place I live in now but I'm dying for a bigger storage space for my media files!
My 1Tb MyBook has reached its full limit!

So I am eyeing on these 3 external HDD.

MyBook v 3.0

My PassportElite

MyPassport EssentialSE

I like the better storage space of MyBook v usb 3.0 at 2Tb, but it is a bit bulky and not so handy to bring along during my travels.

Has anyone of you out there uses any of these 3 external HDD? If yes, please feed me with your comments.

I'm Happy

Eventually I got what I want from the wishlist. And boi, I'm happy. Spent a fortune this month buying more things for the house, as well as new items for the new wardrobe :p

Also purchased a bag, quite a luxury one. And now, I'm broke. Haha

Anyway, how are you? Enjoying the hot weather outside? Ha ha

NY 2010 Wishlist Vol. 1

I wonder if there is anyone out there yang generous enough to buy me a pair of this swim short.

Aiyoo....I will sayang you like my other half lah. Nak beli, tak mampu......RM 750 per pair (somehow investing in a pair of good jeans in the same price range e.g Replay and Energie lagi berbaloi by hundred times la if you come to think of it).

It is understood that Vilebrequin (pronounced Vil-bre-kahn) is a luxury French brand hence the crazy price. So....those yang pakai pon A-profiler.

The ideal length. Just nice 3-4" above the knees...

Tunggu lah...kalau ade rezeki, ade......

The Story of A Crown Cap

Greetings,

I am back!!

It was a looooong weekend here in Malaysia. The Muslims celebrated the Eid-Adha, which fell last Friday, this year. It was not-so-bad on my side, all family members gathered at Ma's place in Cheras. Later in the afternoon, crazy downpour that we couldn't even get out from the house.

Except for ME. Ha! Well I did, and spent the Friday night with a friend in town. It was a crazy Friday night, wayyyy tooo crazy until I forgot where I was when I got up on the following day. No no, gw tak mabuk dan tak minom OK. Now, I am still in recovery process (btw, it's Sunday today).

Anyway, when I was in HK a couple of weeks ago, I saw a similar looking crown cap (as shown below) at one of many departmental stores there. I wanted to buy so badly. They were having the Winter Sale, so I guess I have two reasons to buy it.

But later, thinking that it may make me look 'over' bak kata orang Melayu, I decided not to.

Until a colleague who went to Incheon in Korea recently, and flashing his photos in the facebook with the crown cap complete with the whole set of winter clothing ........I was like 'Fck! How stupid aku nak takut orang cakap ape. Now this 'A' guy dah already pakai a nice winter cap with bulu2 (well, bila masa lagi nak melaram kalau bukan musim winter), bila je lagi nak ada chance nak beli a winter cap at a bargain price like the one I saw in HK?

Shhshshhhshh.....!

Takpelah.....maybe next time dapat flight ke Beijing ke, mana tau lagi murah.....

But for the time being, gw rasa menyesal. The reason being, I just got carried away with the thought of what other people might think about me, and put that little convenience and comfort for myself behind it which is........unfair.

It is my money, my body and my style la kan...

U know u love me,
xoxo

Nak beli online pon tak bole sebab custom memang je check every printed materials that come into Malaysia...

I must buy, I must buy, I must buy it......but HOW??

Again, your help will be highly appreciated.

Love,

New Wishlist.

Hey hey,

They are here! I mean the new products by Apple and Leica. It is mental orgasm! I so want these babies.

iPod Classic, 160Gb
Price: SGD 388 (roughly MYR 800)
Notes: No new features, except the capacity has been increased from 120 to 160Gb. (Dulu pon iPod classic memang dah 160Gb, before they reduced it to 120 and added the 'musical Genius' feature. Now kembali 160Gb)

Leica X1
Price: Will only be available nearer to date of launch, January 2010
Notes: Nah, the features are almost similar to other conventional compact digital cameras in the current market but hey, it is Leica!

Minimalist, it is.

Leica M9
Price: £4,850 (around MYR 25, 000)
Notes: Good things come in small package.

Any Zachba readers kind enough to make donations into my bank account? I may need financial aid for the 2 cameras above. Haha!

Weekend is here, still I need to go to work on Sunday. But I am looking forward to that, since I will be flying with my batch mate ;)

U know u love me, xoxo

A Reward For Myself

Dear Diary,

Weekend is here now. So, what are the plans? Going out for a party? Cooking for colleagues/family for break fast (it's Ramadhan now) or just simply lazing at home?

Well, I got no plans but to go to work. I'll be flying off to Borneo once again tomorrow before going to the ever colorful India on Monday.
Weeeeeeee........ People say I'm insane, but I know myself better--what I like, and what I don't like. Just like you.

I am now busy gathering knowledge and info for some stuffs.

I mean, in this year alone, I graduated twice. First, from the Flying Academy and landed on a job that I really love, and second from the university. Was I fortunate? Yeah, very much so.

And I have not reward a thing for myself for the 2 events. I do believe after the hard work done, I must do something to pamper myself.

I have 3 options. And below are what nesting in my head now.

1. MacBook, 160Gb, 2.13MHz

Budget: MYR 3699
Days of Hunger: 6 weeks (bukan berdasarkan gaji but average spending per month)
Note: Apple Media Event is scheduled for September 9th. It will introduce the new updated version of all Apple items during the event so I rather wait and see the new offerings. Plus I dislike the white MacBook. They ceased the production of the black MacBook :(

2. A DSLR Camera

Budget: MYR 3k-4k
Days of Hunger: 5-6 weeks
depending on the camera (bukan berdasarkan gaji but average spending per month)
Note: My heart strongly says I go for Nikon. Model of camera to be confirmed. This is a great investment so I must not regret for the choice I make later on. Hardcore research needed.

3. A Beach Holiday for 4D/3N

Budget: MYR 1k ONLY
Days of Hunger: 3 weeks (bukan berdasarkan gaji but average spending per month)
Note: I looooong for a beach gateaway. Not at Port Dickson neither at Pantai Morib (remember, I am not a married man with 3 kids, and a fattie wifey). It must be a good mixture of nice beach, vibrating night life, good food and good shopping (and great people too). My off days request for this plan have been approved tho :)

Hah!
It is hard to make a decision heh. Nak reward diri sendiri pon susah! How I wish I can afford these 3 without any hunger.

Dump me your comments.

U know u love me, xoxo

New Wishlist

I might have said that I won't be attending my convocation day before.

But, can I still change my mind? Yes......

I went to Melaka last week, and, everything for the convocation had been settled--outstanding fees, robe rental, graduation clearance et cetera.

Now, I am praying hard to God that the trainer at the flying school will be kind enough to approve my off day request to attend the ceremony.

New Wishlist.

Dear Diary,

Good day.

I am now planning to buy a new phone, just to replace the one I am still using, the very sincere 6 y.o Nokia 3200 that was given by my Brit-ex for my bday.

I still remember, during that time, the model was the very first mobile phone with a camera. Kire canggih la time tu. And I am a type of person yang selagi bende tu elok, I akan pakai. But recently, phone keeps giving troubles. Considering the nature of my job where I need a 'usable' handy beside me 25/7 (pun intended), I just need to buy a new one. Kalau tak, memang I will still pakai this Nokia 3200 forever and ever.

Other people are so hyped with the iPhones, which I particularly like as well.
But after a deep thought, it just wouldn't (or couldn't) suit me very well.

You know, I ni jenis yang kasar. Ditambahkan lagi the fact yang iPhone tu touch screen, lagi susah.

I like the phones below.

BlackBerry Bold

BlackBerry 8900

Nokia E75

Nokia E63

It is either a BlackBerry or a Nokia E series that uses QWERTY keypad. And most of all, the design must be a candybar. I dislike clamshell. Eu...

I have made some research. Almost all 4 of the above come with similar features.

But who knows if you ade pendapat sendiri?

HELP!

I Miss ...

Dear Diary,

Last week, I was chatting with a long lost friend. And the very first thing he said to me was, 'Dude, are you free this noon?'.

And I said 'Yeah....wassup?'.

And he replied 'Let's hit the gym at KLCC (Fitness First). I got 2 free 1-Day Pass'.

I said 'Sh**t! That was the gym I went to before'.

Well, basically that is the story lah! How I am dying to work out again in the gym. I just couldnt find the time where and when for me to work out. Yeah, I know, people will always say it is a lame excuse to say it's because of the job that we cant go work out!

But what to do? The tight schedule, crazy working hours (again) et cetera. Boooo....!

Me, when I feel good (and look good too!)

I also got the chance to appear on few commercials (both TV and printed). That was beforeee laah!

And I frequented the beach too!
There was no 'malu' in my dictionary, for me to wear bikini.

Ta duhhh!~

But that was old story la. I tremendously lost my weight, lost my cutting and lost the extra 'Umphh', if I may say the word, ever since I quit going to the gym.

And this is me, taken recently. Aiyoo....very skeleton-alike lah!

I miss the gym. Fullstop

Ed Hardy Is In Town!

HA!!

I know I know this is not the updated version of what's happening in town since the very first Ed Hardy store in Malaysia is already opened and these 2 photos were taken months ago! My apologies.

I havent pay a visit to the store just yet, but haishh........I cant wait!

Christian Audigier reminds me very much to Abbey from Liverpool and Janice Dickinson (The Beauty and The Best, if u still remember?)
