The Story of A Crown Cap

Greetings,

I am back!!

It was a looooong weekend here in Malaysia. The Muslims celebrated the Eid-Adha, which fell last Friday, this year. It was not-so-bad on my side, all family members gathered at Ma's place in Cheras. Later in the afternoon, crazy downpour that we couldn't even get out from the house.

Except for ME. Ha! Well I did, and spent the Friday night with a friend in town. It was a crazy Friday night, wayyyy tooo crazy until I forgot where I was when I got up on the following day. No no, gw tak mabuk dan tak minom OK. Now, I am still in recovery process (btw, it's Sunday today).

Anyway, when I was in HK a couple of weeks ago, I saw a similar looking crown cap (as shown below) at one of many departmental stores there. I wanted to buy so badly. They were having the Winter Sale, so I guess I have two reasons to buy it.

But later, thinking that it may make me look 'over' bak kata orang Melayu, I decided not to.

Until a colleague who went to Incheon in Korea recently, and flashing his photos in the facebook with the crown cap complete with the whole set of winter clothing ........I was like 'Fck! How stupid aku nak takut orang cakap ape. Now this 'A' guy dah already pakai a nice winter cap with bulu2 (well, bila masa lagi nak melaram kalau bukan musim winter), bila je lagi nak ada chance nak beli a winter cap at a bargain price like the one I saw in HK?

Shhshshhhshh.....!

Takpelah.....maybe next time dapat flight ke Beijing ke, mana tau lagi murah.....

But for the time being, gw rasa menyesal. The reason being, I just got carried away with the thought of what other people might think about me, and put that little convenience and comfort for myself behind it which is........unfair.

It is my money, my body and my style la kan...

U know u love me,
xoxo

I Am One of The World's Best

Greetings,

It is 1.03am now, and I am still awake. Thank you to the neighbors for that undisturbed nap I had this evening. I treasure it very much. These days, nak tidur malam pon susah, inikan pulak nak tidur siang.

Anyway, just to share. Just recently, Malaysia Airlines, yes, the company that I am working for, wins the 5-Star Airline (the 5th year) & the World's Best Cabin Staff Award (the 7th time) for 2010!!!

I just received the news from a colleague and boy, I am elated!

Well, my colleagues and I work hard, and it just pays!

The world recognized us, again. You may read the whole news here and here. Or simply google it ;)

Kita kan orang Malaysia, dan orang Malaysia kan 'people's people'........

Congratulations to all Malaysia Airlines crew especially, and of course, to all Malaysians as well ;)

Oh semua, marilah terbang.......
terbang tinggi bersama

Gossip Girl S03

Greetings,

I hate to admit this but I do love watching Gossip Girl, in fact, I am a huge fan of the TV show and have the whole series from S01 to the current ones (S03E10) in my iPod.

It may sound girly and so high-school, I know, but I cannot resist to have that feeling of being filthy rich by watching the show. Frankly speaking, I am not from the same hierarchy level as Blair Waldorf (which is very obvious) so it is good that the show can buat modal berangan, bak kata orang Melayu. At least I know how is the life of rich people may seems like.

And my fav characters in the show are Chuck Bass and Jenny Humphrey.
Aiyoo......Ed Westwick is just perfect for the character. He is one great actor, for sure. And Little J has never dissapoint me so far.

In the latest season, Season 3, saw new faces like Tyra Banks, Hillary Duff and more. The kids (Blair and company) are no longer students at Constance Billard but they are now attending college, except for Serena, who is working at the Publicist.

And yesterday, I just finished watching the 9th episode of Season 3. Eughh......there was a scene where Dan Humphrey had threesome with Vanessa and Olivia (starring Hillary Duff). Macam tak perlu je that scene!

Anyway, the drama is getting hotter and hotter, which I like very much. I am yet to watch the Episode 10 after this.

I strongly recommend the TV show to those yang suke berangan.

Well, I do like to berangan, and people who loves to berangan. In fact, I do encourage people to berangan from which I believe, dari berangan lah kau tahu ape yang kau nak in your life. It makes you go strive for it.

Plus, berangan doesn't cost you a thing, so, you got nothing to lose pon......

Happy weekend everyone, wherever you are in this world.

I Have Never Done This Before.

I swear to God, this wasn't my intention but when you travel alone, you got no choice but to ask people surrounding you to help you with the camera, I mean your camera.

Case 1: I was at The Peak in Victoria Peak last week. The scenery was so great-looking that I wanted to spend the whole SD card with my photos there. But since I was alone, I depended on other people. And it happened that I asked this Hongkee and he had asked me to give that 'peace' sign. He said I will look better with that 'peace' sign.

....it was really a typical Jinjang pose. I felt so like a Jinjang school kid.

Case 2: Zachba finally snapped the typical facebook shot! This is very 'new' to me. I never do this before. Self-photo taking is not my thing. And peeps, I hate the naive look I have when I do the pose. Yucks!

U know u love me, xoxo

Woof!

Greetings,

I snapped the photo below from last week's newspaper, unfortunately I can't recall the exact date, so my apologies.

The thing that I want to highlight here is the hair do of Rosmah Mansor, and errr.....her face! BTW, Rosmah is the wife of the Malaysia's current PM, aka Malaysia's first lady.

Aiyo, makin hari makin menjadi yek ko Rosmah. I mean, look at the do and the face! So plastic! As plastic as press-on nails!

Even the nose!
The nose is as huge as 'burung belatok'. Ever seen The Grinch Stole the Christmas by Jim Carrey. Ha.....her nose look like that Grinch also.

And now look at the eyes........muke bengkak dek menyuntik sampai tak boleh nak bukak mata dah.

C'mon la......dah takde keje lain ke asik nak menyuntik je? Do what you supposed to do for the Rakyat (pronounced Rakyat, tak payah nak berdengung Ra'yat. I hate that shitty pronunciation!), not suntik here and there and telling the whole wide world you did nothing to the face. People are not stupid and blind!

ps: macam tak percaye dulu Rosmah attached to a news anchor from RTM.

What's The Secret of Victoria's Secret?

.....the secret is, 'she' is finally in our shore now. You read me right, she is now in Kuala Lumpur.

I was walking around the airport terminal yesterday and I just couldn't believe myself that the VS outlet has arrived here!

I spoke to the salesgirl, whom I know to be very chatty and she said this is the first outlet in Malaysia!!

So girls, if you ever wanted to buy the VS body care products eg perfume, lotion etc, you may want to kirim to me, if you like? (mind you again, the store is the one and only in Malaysia now)

I did check the price of their ever popular body mists and they are sold at MYR40 per bottle which I consider relatively cheap since they are sold at USD18 in the states!!! **I just loved their 'Love Spell' anyway.

Plus, being a crew, I got 10% discount, so lagi la murah.

So, please girls, sape nak kirim, just do let me know. I won't charge any commission pon.

U know u love me, xoxo

A Saturday Noon at Vic Peak

Greetings from the City of Asia, HK.

I am now at Starbucks located on top of Victoria Peak sipping the Gingerbread Latte which I found to be very very nice. I love it! (a bit pricey though for a medium size at HKD 40 +/- MYR 20).

I had to change almost ALL plans for today.

I got lost at Hong Kong MRT Station and wasted an hour there looking for directions to Central MRT Station. The Hongkees keep giving me wrong directions. The 'good' thing is, another half an hour wasted at Admiralty MRT Station seeking directions to Kennedy Road. And the story goes on and on and on....

Seriously, do not ever trust Hongkees when it comes to directions. I rather ask "gweilo" aka the mat salleh who live in HK for that. Oh yeah......HK mmg je international city.

Never that I know that I can be so hopeless in HK, though I 'stayed' here once before.

Going down to Mid Levels now, and later going to Ben & Jerry ice cream shop at Lan Kwai Fong to meet a friend who lives here.

Hopefully no more getting lost on my way there. And please wait for my HK photos here ;)

U know u love me, xoxo

Hello Hongkees

Greetings,

MH 0074 is calling me already. Not really my first time in HKG, been there few years ago for a couple of weeks. Thanks to the Brit-ex for the accom provided.

I am not sure what's the plan like for the weekend with the rest of the crew members, but I would like to visit HK Disneyland or HK's Madame Tussaud, if any of the colleagues are interested to participate. Else, I will be pusing2 alone in Tsim Tsa Shui, or go to Southern Hollywood Rd or any of the malls in town for some shopping or visit the 'old place' at Kennedy Road (Mid-Level) and up to Victoria Peak for some photo taking session. Well, I have no problem going out alone ;)

Anyway, wishing all a very splendid weekend ahead. I know mine will be one, hope yours too.

U know u love me, xoxo

ps: I guess I will be 'sitting' on the left side of the aircraft again, as shown above, at Door 1, 3 or 4. Kerat jari aku nak dapat 'duduk' sebelah kanan. Btol tak Kak Mel/Ima?

Nov '09 Damage(s)

Dear Diary,

I am fully recovered now. They (Pantai Hospital) discharged me yesterday noon, and am I glad that I didn't need to pay a single penny to the hospital for the bills, amounting close to MYR 6000 for that 8 nights stay. That's insane, neh? You see, health is luxury these days.

How lucky that I am covered by 2 life insurances. (In fact, I am paid for these 12-off days) ;)

I am now enjoying my off day at my fav S'bucks in KL located at Level 3, Suria KLCC, sipping one of the latest menu--Toffee Nut Frappucino (minus the cream, yes).

To reward myself after more than a week being hospitalized and not being able to see the world, I decided to do some shopping. And below are the purchases.

Some electrical appliances from Best Denki.
Kene la
start kumpul harta kan.... sikit2, lama2 sarat jugak rumah tu nanti...

And my purchase of the month--a HP Mini.

Since I travel a lot for work (yes, a looootttt), and always in need to be wired, I decided to buy this toy for my daily dosage of cyber needs.

OK now I already have an iPod, a DSLR, a compact camera, a very mobile laptop, a nice phone....I guess I can say that I have it all now, Alhamdulillah.
Yes, an apartment would be nice for my next purchase, wait till end of next year, InsyaAllah.....

Kereta tu tak payah la......really takde plan nak beli kereta. Basically, Zachba is going green.....haha

And, I will be going to Hong Kong this Friday for 3 days, followed by a trip to Bali. How nice....

Wishing everyone a good week ahead, and ta!

U know u love me, xoxo

Hospitalized

Dear Diary,

I am warded now, at Pantai Hospital Pandan Indah. I have been having a very high fever for almost a week now and seek consultation from 3 clinics but it was no good. Body temperature was 38.2 deg Celsius last night and I just knew that it was time to go to the hospital.

Proper check up will come after this.

The 'best' part about this is, I am actually scheduled to fly to Shanghai tonight!!

How sad.....for the fever and the trip ;(
