Morning and good day,

As I promised earlier, here are another photos taken at my engagement day. I am still puzzled what do we call 'hantaran' in English, whether to call it 'dowry' or 'engagement/wedding gifts'. I just can't find the right word until now.

How Dare?

I am not sure if it is just me who is being fussy or what? But if you have some extra time, please click the two photos below to enlarge, and you will see what I mean.

I even sent an email to ALL staffs in STAD Department (about 8 of them), cc'ed to our beloved new university President, Dr. Zaharin bin Yusoff but only ONE who cared enough to reply. I did ask them, who was actually responsible to observe every materials before they are being circulated online?

And the ONLY reply email I received goes like this

How stupid and ignorant to see the required languages do not fit the exact 'figure' they are looking for?

Why on earth the company can't go directly like this

-Required language(s): Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, Hokkien and the like, as long as you don't speak other than Chinese, but Chinese only!

I regret if this is too much for you, but this announcement really tickled me big time. I can't tolerate with this racial discrimination circular.

What? You are calling me racist and fascist? WRONG! I am a Malaysian Malaysian. Why dont you ask me personally, if you keen to know what I mean?

This weekend will be the most exciting weekend that most of the MMUians (members of Multimedia University), including myself, looking forward to. The weekend will host the....

Geez. I dah start to feel envy with those yang convo this year. Because, I myself will only be in the list in the next batch of Convo Day, and that is happening in Year 2009! Sounds pathetic? No. The reason is, all my close-friends pon carry forward to convo next year.

And my apologies that I will not be able to attend your Big Day, friends. I will have another priority commitment that I have to go to for my future. That being said, I still ingat that I owe you flowers (Sorry, no chocs, no soft toys, no small-but-expensive-gifts from me. Don't expect one). Thanks for those who read this, remind me for your flowers if you have your photos below, that is if you're listed to Convo this year. Sing Air Pt. 1

Couple of days ago, I received a wake-up msg from William, my ex-uni mate, who was also my gym buddy in Melaka.

It was a fairly weird msg, since he urged me to take up a job interview that will be held in town, very soon. My mind was in a shilly-shally state, that I truly uncertain with the suggested idea.

And the job interview he suggested me to go is for the Singapore Airlines (IATA=SQ, ICAO=SIA) Cabin Crew.

Yes, a job interview to hire SIA's new Cabin Crew (also known as Flight Attendant (FA), steward/ess, pramugara/i, depends on what you call it).

Me working as a cabin crew?

My initial thought was 'nah.....I don't fit the bills, it's a bad idea lah'. You know lah, I have 2 minor scars on my face--one on my upper right cheek and one on my foreskin forehead. **Screw u chicken pox!

And we are talking about cabin crew for SIA, the most profitable company in Asia, not for the no-frills Air Asia or Tiger Airways. I may have a strong resumé, but I don't have the guts la because of the scars and the ungraceful me. Tau la kan, pramugara/i tu, muke they all time marah ke, senyum ke, still akan maintain sama. And aku pulak, kalo senyum still look OK, kalau marah .......

I can't imagine myself serving those demanding Arabs in the cabin.

But guess what.....I will still be going to the interview. We'll see la if laku (not) aku ni. haha

Yes, education is very important. It will take me from the small circle to the big one (i'Allah)

Hi diary,

Today is Thursday, half of me colleagues are on medical leave today (?). I am told that we (officemates) are going to start our new IT project soon. Headache.

KL Ultra Lights in Photos

Penang Rojak at Food Republic, Pavilion KL

Dear diary,

Last Sunday, my colleagues and I went to Pavilion situated at Jalan Bukit Bintang in KL. At first, our plan was to go to the Kenko Fish Spa located in the mall, I was recommended by many. Plus, one of the collegues remembered that it was only RM3, per entry for 30 mins block during his last visit to the mall. But heck, the rate now dah naik to RM 38/30 mins (well actually, the rate tak naik, my first time visit to Pavilion during fasting month last year, Sept 2007, pon mmg rate dia macam tu)

Thus, we ended up our visit at the food court, namely Food Republic. Frankly speaking, I've never been to the food court before. My usual eating place in Pavilion are Carl's Jr, KFC (haha), J.Co Donuts, Pastamania and Starbucks cafe.

Miss L, recommended me to try the Penang Fruit Rojak. Initially, I felt hesistate to give a go, u know....macam tak berbaloi je makan rojak buah sampai RM7. Ding dong ding dong...I eventually ordered one, unbelievable it was.

And the very first thing I said after my first spoon was... 'Holy cow! Sedap gile lah wei.....'

Seriously, it was THAT tasty, the portion was generous, the ketchup were rather thick, so my taste, and the rojak was topped with crackers yang I tak tahu nama dia plus super extra ground peanuts.

....and the output =P~

Slow Service at Pizza Hut

Couple of weeks ago, my fellow colleagues and I went to Pizza Hut at The Mall for our lunch. That was not our first time having a meal there, in fact, I couly prolly tell that we are what we called the 'frequenter' to the chain restaurant.

But gosh, the service was so slow that day. Very² slow until I got so upset and mad. And I gave the captain this look.

"where is my ______ piit~zuh?"

And guess what? Boleh tak dia yelled her worker exactly behind my right ear!? So fckin annoying! I felt like to slap that B!

And what more, one of my colleagues got the wrong plate. Basically, ade je here-and-there. We'll see the next time we are there.
