Yes, I was in the uni debate team and went to 000's of debate championships throughout my study years in MMU. This one below was taken at UPSI during the Environmental Debate Championship in year 2003. We did not win, but I was crowned Best Debater twice! Howdy!

It came as a surprise that a sexy wolverine-like David Beckham will grace the cover and the back cover of the September issue of Men's Health, hitting newsstands August 12 (in America only la kan....), along with the back cover of the mag's Guide to Style insert.

Geez, bile la my face to be featured on the cover for Malaysia edition? I am tired of waiting la, Kenneth! Mind you, when Josiah Ng graced on the cover for Men's Health November issue last year, he actually did the photoshoot during the Olympics in Athens....and that was in 2004!!!!

Aiyo...kene tunggu that lame ke, Mr. Editor?

Anyway, I was invited by Serena, the new Men's Health A&P manager replacing Mingle who moved to Female Magazine to the Refine & Define 2008 Final Party tomorrow at Bar Savanh Too at Mont Kiara.

Yeay, somebody is doing the job ;)

Three of my unimates are in the competition this year. They are non other than my best workout buddies in Melaka--Wong, Ke Yi and Victor.

I in fact was a participant in the same competition last year. The photo below will judge.

Though I did not win the Grand Prize award, I received these instead.

I dont really care about the Best Hair Groomed, tapi untuk Most Stylish alahai syahdunye....

Somehow, I terkejut la that I did not win the Grand Prize....you know, they had 5 categories last year and I won 2 out of 5. Basically I grabbed the most category awards but heck the Grand Winner did not get any of the category prizes. Ala² Juara Lagu la.....tak ke terkedu Saripah Aini kalau dia menang Vokal Terbaik, Persembahan Terbaik, Juara Pop Rock....tibe² Juara Lagu, Syura yang menang? **Pengsan!

Anyway to Wong and Ke Yi and Victor, I hope you guys will get something la tomorrow night. If I can, why cannot you?

Kate Moss Interview Magazine September 2008

Last Week.....

Dear Diary,

I truly had fun last weekend. I managed to watch 3 movies that I was dying to see for months! The movies are

1. Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (the 1971 version)
2. Jumanji (starring Kirsten Dunst)
3. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, that was released on the same year I was born

I also went for a job interview last Saturday and was in town again, on Sunday to run few errands. I was alone, like always :(

I had my hair cut on Saturday evening. Man, it had been like ages since I last went to 'Mamak' to get my hair trimmed and all. To be exact, I last went to Mamak in year 1996, when I was a super senior in my elementary school! That was 12 years ago!

The reason is, giving it 3 years I stayed at boarding school until 1999, followed by 2 years of free hair cut from my elder brother (since he own that hair machine, and I hate the look anyway), and the rest of the remaining 12 years I frequented a salon shop in Melaka. And now, since I don't live in the historical state of Melaka anymore, nak tak nak, kene la carik a new alternative.

And I found one! Located at Jalan Kuari in Cheras, this small shop is running by 2 mamaks.

And the rate is dirty cheap too, for RM 9, I got a nice hair cut that I like a lot, plus a complimentary shoulder massage and also, a BACK massage.

I didn't know mamaks these days ade offer such package--hair cut and massages!

As soon as I finished everything, I dashed to the bus stop to catch a bus ride home and I found these 2 advertisments pasted on the ceiling of the bus stop. **typical local attitudes! But what actually caught my eyes was what written in one of the papers.

Dear Diary,

I went to KLCC last Sunday after running few errands in town. As I mentioned before, I go to this shopping mall almost every weekend. But I wasn't be able to come week before as I was on a very tight schedule.

And ta~duh.....I was surprised that these 2 outlets are coming to the mall very² soon.

And they are non other than non-ordinary:

It wasn't Godiva that surprised me most, because rumors says last time that Pavilion were to opened one, even in fact, during my first visit to the mall with Mohai, the very first thing I did was to walked to the Concierge and asked them where is Godiva? And there isn't any at that time!

I first heard about Godiva in year 2004, if I'm not mistaken, when my Brit ex-pony, E, told me that he gave his Japanese secretary a box of a dozen chocolate truffles (can't remember the bouquet). I did ask him for the same thing, and he promised to buy one! haha! (E, if you read this, let's not pretend you don't remember this)

I was actually tersangatlah surprised that Harrods will be here soon, in Malaysia, in KL to be exact! And I still remember during my second time trip to Singapore, that was in year 2003, I hopped into Ngee Ann City in Orchard and visited the boutique-shop. Ended up bought nothing. I was in a shoestring.

And yesterday, Monday August 11, as I was reading the newspaper, I came through into an article that Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be in town end of this year!

Now, we have Dunkin Donuts, Big Apple and J.co Dougnuts from Indonesia, sekarang Krispy Kreme pulak nak penetrate? Ape lagi donat nak dijual di KL?

America's Next Top Model, Cycle 11

ANTM is undeniably one of my fav TV show. I simply love the catfights and those dramas. The latest season, Cycle 11, will be premiering this Sept 3.
