Itik Peking (Peking Duck)

A quick note.

I'm off to Beijing again this morning (Thurs, Aug 26th). It is my second visit to the largest Chinese city in this month alone, also my third visit there.

Already have my 'kaki' on this trip. Planning to go 'pusing2' together around town incl. a visit to Hard Rock Cafe. Never been to the one in Beijing.

See ya when I'm back ;)

ps: Never seen any Itik Peking in Beijing, sama seperti tak pernah menjumpai sirap bandung di Bandung. Apakah?

Today 07/07/10

Greetings everyone,

It is Wednesday evening. I am tapping this from my home. Just landed from Phnom Penh in Cambodia. Was in Penang yesterday and tomorrow is my off day. Will do the spring cleaning tomorrow, hopefully :p

My mom and dad flew to Jeddah in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this afternoon for the 'Umrah' (pre-Hajj). It was great to see them at the airport right after my arrival from Cambodia, and be able to send them boarding the aircraft later, tempat aku mencari rezeki. They will be back in 2 weeks time. And I am hoping they will be back safe and sound.

Anyway, guess who was on my flight this afternoon?

It was Tan Sri Jins Shamsuddin! Ha....It was like a dream come true to meet this VVIP for real!

I remember when I was a kid, he used to be the hero in many Malay movies. And believe me, at 76 (according to his birth date on Wikipedia) he still looks charming and so handsome like in his golden days yet full of charismatic and confidence and very calm and down to earth too, in that case, that I did not realize I was really talking to him until I reach home and see our photo together. And he looked younger than his actual age too, really, prolly because of the aviator he was wearing. LOL.

Oh I am so happy for many things happened today.

Today, 07/07/10 was certainly a great great day for me. You just gotta agree with me.

U know u love me,

Away..........To Delhay~

Greetings.

Happy Sunday people. A not so nice Sunday for me koz I gotta work. I miss having brunch on Sunday with friends in town. Now another one is missing from the group, Betty it is. She was just married last week and today is her wedding reception on the groom's side. And later next month, she will move to Melbourne in Australia to follow the husband, who is currently working there (and waiting for his PR status. y.u.c.k.s).

Btw, I'm off to New Delhi this evening. This will be my forth visit to the city.

Seriously rasa malas nak pergi.

The reason being, I am now down with fever after my trip to Sabah. And bad stomach ache from the fried noodle I had at Tawau airport. **screw u kakak

And the great thing is the weather in Delhi now is forecasted to be very HOOOOTTTTTTTT!

Look below, on Sunday 16 May.

The weather is predicted to be 44 deg Celcius!!!

Aiyo KL
yang 29 deg pon dah kuyup berpeluh. Since the weather in Delhi now is extremely hot, and my current condition at its not-so-best, I decided that I will not go out do the sightseeing like I normally do in Delhi. I rather stay indoor and finish read a book. I am now engaged to this book titled How Starbucks Saved My Life by Michael Gates Gill. It is a good read I must say.

Haaa.....makin demam la balik KL nanti. It really reminds me of my first trip to Dubai last year. Weather was around 50 deg Celcius. And it was 4 in the morning!!!!

Pengsan......

Tuhan, selamatkan perjalananku pergi dan balik. Amin

G'day Western Australiah!

Yooohoooooooo.....!

Hey hey everyone...

How was the weekend? Did you have a good one? Well, I did. I enjoyed my weekend a lot! I was in Kuching the whole week last week actually. I got to visit so many new places in the 'Cat City' as well as experienced many new things during my visit there. Will tell more on that later.

But for now, I am excited to tell that I'll be going to Australia this afternoon. For the first time. Wohhoooo......

The old Heliconia Livery. They have ceased the livery.

And the not-so-bad thing is, I'll be flying on the B-777! I've flown with Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific B-777 before, but this will be my first time flying with our own B-777. For real!

The MH B-777 cabin ambiance. Old photo.

City skyline at night.

So Western Australiahhh (WA), here I come! To Shakey and Jeff, let's paint the city red, OK?

U know u love me, xoxo

Nǐhǎo Peking

Ni Hao people,

I feel like ages since I last updated this blog of mine. How are you doing? And how is the weekend?

Mine is a boring one. Boooo.....I am down with fever (been 3 weeks now), running nose and dry coughs. I hope it is nothing serious. Really! Nevertheless, I still have work to perform. I will be flying off to Beijing (Peking is the old name) tomorrow night (Sunday). This will be my very first time visiting the capital of China.

CCTV Building

What I like most about the trip is I will be flying with the same person I flew with to Dubai last month, and to Surabaya November last year. Wooooow...yes, I am so excited.

Travel is somehow easy when you have 'kaki' to go out with. Get the idea?

Great Wall and Water Cube (and Bird Nest).......HERE I COME!!!

U know u love me,
xoxo

ps: Oh didn't I tell you that Beijing is also another great place for shopping? :)

Juicy Gossips from Bali

Greetings everyone,

Will try to make this a short one.

I just returned home from Bali. For some reasons, I do enjoy doing flights to Bali. It is not a short flight, hence kerja tak tekejar-kejar, neither a long one that feels like never ending flight. The 3 hours flight to and fro Kuala Lumpur is just nice for me at least, to do the service, as well as PR with the passengers. The ambiance is different too when the passengers are more relaxed-looking than those stressed-and-serious-looking pax in business suits, like in Singapore flights for instance.

Anyway, both flights to Bali just now were eventful ones, I must say. There were so many things (good ones) happened during the flights.

And I guess it'll be easier if I put things into point-forms since banyak benda nak share :p

  • I was blessed with a very nice set of crew
  • Later during the flight, I found out that one of my crew was speaking French to a pax. I discovered she was raised in Montreal, Canada. And it was actually my first time to meet a crew who is be able to speak French
  • During the service, as I pulled my cart, a white lady asked me if I have lived in Australia? I said NO, in fact I have never been to Australia before. Well, according to her, I do speak in Australian accent. Wooohooooo.......... Jangan nak kata ade accent, orang dah paham my English yang tak betul grammar dan vocab ni pon dah kira bagus. But seriously, I have no idea where did I pick up the accent from, if it's true that I have one
  • I received 3 compliments in total yesterday. 1 written and 2 verbal. Alhamdulillah ada orang acknowledged my work
  • A local lady wanted to take a photo of me, while service which I found very good to ask first. But I refused....and now I regret. LOL (**remember, always ask first. It is unkind to snap someone's photos without permission)
  • Someone gave me his business card. There were actually quite a number of passengers who gave me their call cards throughout my flying experience, which I never make use to contact them back.
  • One of the passenger, a very nice local Chinese guy on the way back from Bali remembered me. I used to serve him on the way up last week. And surprisingly I still remember his fav drink, vodka and Sprite
  • So did one of the lady, a German lady. I flew with her 2 months back from KL to Medan. She was upset on the way to Medan that she was stranded in KL airport for long hours due to miscommunication of her travel agency back in Frankfurt and the airline. I calmed her down and heck.....I am well remembered by her
  • And if you still remember, I was in Bangkok on Christmas Eve last year. And one of the pax that was on my flight to Bangkok was also on the same flight as me to Bali yesterday. What a small world kan?
  • Terjumpa 2 celebrities smalam. Lately selalu sangat jumpe celebrity dalam flight lah. Tapi celebrity atau tidak, saya treat semua passenger same ye
Despite the good things above, ada jugak a bad thing happened to me yesterday.

I kene jerit dengan sorang passenger smalam. OK, I let you imagine....if you got screamed by someone sampai perkataan 'fckin' keluar, ape you rase?

Masa dia jerit, saya pandang dia dan tersenyap dlm 5 ke 7 saat. Memang speechless sebab tak pernah kene jerit macam itu. Tapi bukan salah saya, buktinya ada passenger lain datang dan backed me up. I spoke to my crew in charge, he understood the problem and dia pon agree bukan salah saya. Tak payah la I explain semua kat sini. Hanya Tuhan yang memahami perasaan saya masa itu.

Nevertheless, Bali (DPS) is still my fav route so far. And based on what happened yesterday, I knew that I did the right thing and chose to do the right thing and knew this is the right thing I wanna do.

No complaint but happiness all the way.
