Dear Diary,

I am glad to be back again. It's been eternity since I report something on you. I do miss you dearly.

I had a very tiring week last week. So many things to do, yet very little time that I had. Anyway, I am now enjoying my days off at home ;)

This time, I want to share with you some of the photos I managed to take during my recent visit (merely just a visit....duh!~) to Star Hill Gallery in Bukit Bintang. I was there with another 2 pals--Mino and Dino, and oh yeah...it was on the same day we visited the final day of the KL Stamp Week 2008 ;)

Frankly speaking, I am not a guy who can yet afford to buy something from the gallery. Confession sangat kan? Why bother to claim that Star Hill is your fav Mall in town when you cant even afford a small² thing from LV with your monthly salary. I have encountered meeting the celup so-called town-boys-and-girls, and really, it was simply disgusting.

Back to the story. My visit to the gallery was in conjunction with the annual luxury watches showcase organized by the Mall called A Journey Through Time. The visit was an eye-opening, in many ways.

Shooot! A RM 3.7M watch. Aiyo...

And shisshhh... I was lied by the deco plants in mall. I really² thought they are fake ones until I saw this.

Real rumput(!) people. Ha

I was also given this, which I thought I must return the card on the way out, but heck, I was told to keep this. In a way, it work like an advertisement or mouth-to-mouth testimonials la kan?

Beckham, Again..

OK OK, before anyone out there make a mistake, I did not copy this from other blog or something. This is based on my observation and study ;)

The very first 2 photos are the Beckhams at the Beso Restaurant, own by Eva Longoria. They looked nice, like always.

And these 3 photos below showing David at the Teens Choice Awards 2008. How cute he brought the kids up on the stage together with him, heh? But there is ONE thing for sure that truly caught my attention! Look again at what he wore during the 2 events!

OK OK, I was referring to his shoes. Yes, the shoes. David was wearing the same pair of boots (and the belt too actually) in the 2 events. You see, even David Beckham pon pakai kasut same in the 2 huge events! Yes, we are talking about this multi-million dollar man! The one who gets tens of millions in a year!

So, my point is, why bother kite yang earn setakat 3-4k Ringgit a month on things we don't need to? Beckham pon tau maksud favorite pair of shoes and mix-and-match.

And why bother nak claim 'oh yeah, I am an outrageous shoe shopper!'. My reply is 'B.U.L.L.S.H.Y.T'.

Vogue India August 2008 Controversy

For Vogue India's latest issue, editors decided to shoot some of the country's poorest citizens modeling such luxury goods as a Hermes Birkin bag and a Burberry umbrella. The juxtaposition has a number of Vogue readers (and non-readers) astir.

In a place polarized by caste and an exceptionally apparent disparity of wealth, one would think Vogue might have been a little more discreet. What infuriates me most about the photo spread is that Vogue didn't even get the names of the men, women and children posing. They are simply referred to as "lady" or "man" while the cutline goes into great detail about the various objects they model -- people as props, handbags as the main story.

An older woman, missing her upper teeth -- held a baby wearing a Fendi bib which cost as much as she might earn over a several month period

Elsewhere, a toothless barefoot man holds a Burberry umbrella (about $200).
