Yum Yum, O Carliee..

Dear Diary,

This is another food entry. I was actually at Carl's Jr, yet another chain restaurant from the US famous for its super-sized burgers.

As far as I'm corcerned, there are 4 outlets scattered in the Klang Valley area and the one I went to is located at Mid Valley Megamall. That was my first time to eat Carlie. You know, people keep talkin about the food....

The food is a bit pricey but portion is generous, so can't complaint there.

Anyone up for Carlie this weekend?

Raya 2008 Pt 4

Dear Diary,

I received quite a number of queries regarding my entry here if that was my real kampong house. The answer is nah...I am not that rich to have such a big kampong house. It is not really a house actually but a museum close to my kampong--Muzium Raja Melewar. Google it if you keen to know more about the museum. I visited the museum on the third day of Raya, been long since I wanted to visit the place!

Anyway, this is the other part of my Raya 2008 entry. And BELOW is my real kampong house! Ha ha. Small, cute, nice house made from solid wood...what else to say? Just a typical kampong house (I wish the it has a common bathroom, must've been great, neh?)

Yeay, I finally reached the kampong!

Raya is not complete with the pelita (gasoline lamp)

And of course la, like many years before....pak sedara harus la lebey dari anak buah! Hahaha

No, this was not photoshopped ok! Camera effect it was.

Tolong the mak, with a big hope that I will dapat duit Raya banyak on the following day ;)

Hurrahhh!

Yet Another Job Interviews...

Dear Diary,

I am glad to be back again. I was all around Kuala Lumpur for the past 2 days for another job interviews.

The very first one was with the Royal Thai Embassy for the Political Assistant post.

I like the job actually, and it has a very wide scope. But you know, I have to compete with another 2 applicants (ONLY) and guess what? They are from the field-- Political Science/Sociology. I am not sure if I really eligible to get the job but hey, I am sooooo willing to learn lah!

Result will be out soon, so, provided I get this job, I will go for this one instead of the FA.

All in all, I really had fun during the interview. There were 5 people who interviewed me, and they are genuine Thai's! 2 ladies and 3 gents. And believe it or not, I actually did not feel like I was being interviewed for the Political Assistant post, the reason is they were all good looking people. I mean very² good looking, just like models! Pengsannn....

Aiyo, seriously, rase more to macam nak casting jadi model!

And yet it was my first time there, at the embassy building. Typical rumah Thai laa, white marble flooring, dinding.....basically almost every nook nak white marble.

I was greeted by this Thai angle on my way to the admin office. Nah, patung ni kat mane² sudut ade.

What happened to the white elephant? haha

Must be the Rukun Negara, or Surah Yaasin, or lagu Negaraku in Thai context, heh?

The building is here, located at Jalan Ampang, where all embassies from around the world located at.

Then, I was at Mont Kiara, for another interview with Sunrise Berhad. The company is the main developer for almost all luxury projects located at Mont Kiara, the exclusive vicinity popular amongst expats in Kuala Lumpur (and recently Kampung Attap too, next to KLCC).

I attended the interview in the morning, and received a phone call later in the evening telling me a good news that I got the job! Wicked! Alhamdulillah...murah rezeki.

Well, I am still keeping my options open, for a better offer. Will decide end of this month ;)

Offer Letter // Love Letter.....I Like

Hey hi Diary,

Just in case....ade yang mulut longkang saying I was making up stories that I got the MAS FA job offer ;)

On the other hand, I received this letter last Saturday! I won another contest run by Men's Health magazine Malaysia.

Actually, what they meant was 'shoulder bag worth RM25, t-shirt worth RM20, cap worth RM18, key chain worth RM15 and a phone thingy at RM5'. Percaye sangat la aku harga t-shirt sampai RM 200! Well, kalau cakap Limited Edition, maybe la....but quality-wise, I dont think harga dia should be that expensive!

Tyra Banks & Michelle Obama

OK OK, everyone in the world knows that Barrack Obama is the new President of the USA. People from Suriname to Ibiza, St. Petersburg to Bukit Beruang, Wellington to Tel-Aviv, semua dah tahu that news (unless yang ignorant tak amik pusing world news and politics).

So, benda ni dah lame. Can be considered dah basi since I first saw these photos below 3 months ago when I was still working at the NAM.

It is actually interesting to see how Miss Tyra Banks (literally) help this Democratic Party candidate in his Presidency campaign.

She dresses as Michelle Obama! Yes, it is true!
Anyway, feel free to click here to know more about Obama.

Gosh, for f*ck sake, I love those pics above!

What about you?

Raya 2008 Pt 3

I finally reached my kampong after almost 2 hours journey from KL. We opted to exit at Alor Gajah as it is much closer to the kampong than Pedas exit.

I love the sceneries at my kampong. So soothing to see kampong houses, incomparable dengan boring concrete views in KL. Duh~

The border of the 2 states. Closer to the kampong...

At my kampong, mmg takde hypermarket like Tesco, Carrefour or Giant. We buy all our groceries from this small shop. Quite OK la. All things ade.

Finally....yeay!! There you are, my kampong. Lovely as ever....

Beck, Again...

***The other part of this post is here.

Dear Diary,

I am glad to be back again. I am very sorry for the delay. I was extremely busy past few days, with work, of course.

It is cloudy outside. Nice weather actually. Not so hot and humid, just nice.

Anyway, this is another I-wish-to-upload-and-update-the-photos-in-my-blog-for-so-long.
It has been more than 2 months actually since I snapped these photos.

I was at Times Bookstore at Pavilion last August where I found the Men's Health Magazine with David B. on the cover. I gotta be frank that I actually did not know that the American version of MH are available in Malaysia. And it is just MYR 19.40, almost 10 Ringgit more than the local version.

I did not buy the mag tho ;p

And yes, David B was almost on every pages of the mag!

Geez. How great to be David B.?

And guess what? As I was flipping the magazine, I saw this ad. It is an underwear adv actually, called 'Papi'.

I was like... 'Holy sh*t' when I saw the ad. Why? Just look at the pic below.

What do you mean papi when there is no bulge? If you cut the photo into 2, and show the yellow undie to me without the body and the face of the guy, without hesitate aku bole cakap iklan Victoria's Secret!
Well, a papi should have a big bulge, heh? Like the photo below.
